DESCRIPTION
Gertie, Mossy, Granger, Cletus and Tracker were surrendered by their owner. Oh my goodness gracious. You know that saying "nothing cuter than a speckled pup"? We might have to disagree, as these pups are adorable. Mama was a Treeing Walker Hound. Daddy was a stranger in the night. However, he was apparently barking up the right tree. Do you love hound puppies? Do you love listening to the song of their people? Do you want to come meet these precious little ones? They are available to meet you 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. OMG just look at those faces! They will only get cuter and bigger as they grow. We expect them to be on the large side. Gertie, Mossy, Granger, Cletus and Tracker are spayed/neutered, microchipped and started on core vaccines.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Treeing Walker Coonhound is a versatile and energetic breed known for its exceptional hunting and tracking abilities. With a distinctive tricolor coat and keen sense of smell, these loyal and friendly dogs excel in endurance activities and make excellent companions for active families. Treeing Walker Coonhounds are famous for their prowess in treeing raccoons, hence their name. With proper training and socialization, this breed thrives in a loving home environment and enjoys opportunities to explore the great outdoors with their human companions.
