Red came to us as an owner surrender with a heavy heart. Red was repeatedly tormented while he was in his crate by children who would poke at him with sticks, etc. Because of this, a crate is not recommended. He does not need a crate however as he does not tear anything up and he seems to be somewhat potty trained. Having lived in an environment where he was mistreated by children, he arrived at the rescue full of fear, unsure of who to trust. But over the last several months, we have watched a beautiful transformation. Red has proven that with patience and kindness, a heart can heal.
