Rudy, a 3 month-old terrier/beagle mix, is a playful, sweet puppy with a whole lot of heart. As a young pup, she experienced a spinal fracture, and she's healing beautifully, with no issues with movement, but her spine will need ongoing monitoring to watch for any signs of impingement, like weakness in her rear legs or dragging her back paws. True to her spirit, Rudy stayed playful, energetic, and affectionate through the whole recovery process - nothing seems to keep this girl down for long! Can you imagine having to confine a puppy from too much movement for weeks? Rudy loves playing outside, having tug-of-war matches with her foster fur brother, and stretching out in a sun puddle. When she's not busy playing, she's on the hunt for kisses and belly rubs. Rudy is a beagle/terrier mix who should be 30-40 pounds when grown. She keeps a clean kennel, is making great progress with potty training, and since she's very treat motivated she's picking up new commands quickly. Rudy is a resilient, loving girl ready to bring joy (and plenty of snuggles) into her forever home!
