Mookie is an adorable 8-week-old (as of 9/11/26) Terrier mix who is proof that a rough start doesn’t have to define your future. This little guy was found alone, unwanted, and uncared for. When he came into rescue, his tiny belly was distorted and he clearly needed some TLC. Thankfully, Mookie is now on the mend and growing into the happy, healthy, playful puppy he was always meant to be.

And his favorite part of being rescued? Making friends! Mookie is showing that he loves other dogs, cats, and children, making him a social little guy who is ready to find a family of his own.

He is already crate trained and working hard on his potty training. Like any young puppy, he’ll need patience, consistency, and plenty of opportunities to learn—but he’s off to a great start!
