MARLO IS ACCEPTING VERY SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS
Marlo has officially been hired as our shelter dog tester, one of his many redeeming qualities that we were thrilled to discover after uncovering a few... less desirable ones. He is pretty compact but he has a BIG personality and BIG ears to go with it!

The truth is, Marlo is a brilliant animal communicator. He has his PhD when it comes to interacting with other dogs. He understands canine body language, knows how to take a correction, and, most importantly, can respect another dog’s space and boundaries when they make it clear they need them.

Marlo is a bit more picky when it comes to his human friends. You've gotta earn your way in. Once you're in you'll discover a smart and goofy dog who has so much to offer.

He is smart, trainable, and loves learning tricks. He enjoys playing with his dog friends and is always up for a good car ride.

Marlo is looking for an adult-only home with someone who has experience understanding and working through behavior. Safety and management will be key. His adopter will need to be willing to make multiple visits over time so he and his potential family can build a relationship and make sure it's the right match.
This boy isn't for everyone, and that's okay. We're not looking for everyone. We're looking for his person.
