Sweet Kiara had a difficult beginning to life. She was rescued from a truck yard in Hialeah, and during her first encounter with volunteers, it quickly became apparent that she had likely never experienced the gentle touch of a human.

Kiara was feral and afraid, unsure of the people trying to help her. But the volunteers saw something worth fighting for and decided to take a chance on this beautiful girl. And what a difference that chance has made!

Kiara is now safe in a foster home, where she continues to make amazing progress. Every day, she is learning a little more about the world, building confidence, and discovering that people can be kind. She is still skittish and needs patience, but she is getting better every day. Her journey is a reminder that healing takes time and that even the most frightened souls can learn to trust.

There is so much to love about Kiara. She has shown that she is respectful of her foster home, does not potty inside, and is not destructive. She is trying so hard, and she deserves someone who will recognize her progress rather than expect her to be perfect overnight.

Kiara isn't asking for much. She needs a patient, understanding person who will give her the time and space to blossom at her own pace. Someone who will celebrate the little victories, respect her boundaries, and show her that she will never have to be afraid again.
