Hola! Soy Wepa!
In February, my buddies (Horchata, Selena, Benito) and I traveled all the way from the sunny beaches of Puerto Rico to Southern Maryland. I was quickly adopted, but sometimes life doesn’t work out how you might expect.
Unfortunately, life circumstances changed and, through no fault of my own, I came back to HSCC. Luckily, I found out about this foster home where Horchata and Benito both stayed while waiting for their forever families to find them. It worked out great for them, so I know it will for me, too!
I’ll keep you updated as I get to know everyone here and they get to know me. Stay tuned for lots more pictures and info as I settle in!
For now, here are the basics:
* I’m a female Sato, a mixed- breed Puerto Rican island dog
*I’m 6 months old, 32 pounds (I fit perfectly in any lap!)
*Housebroken and crate trained
*Active, playful, and smart
*Snuggly and cuddly
*Loyal and devoted
Ps. One more thing-
If you don’t already know, in Puerto Rico, “Wepa” is a way to show excitement and joy like saying “Wow!” or “That’s amazing!” I can’t wait for the day, hopefully soon, where we can all bark out, “WEPA!” because I, Wepa, have found my meant to be!
