Arden - Terrier Dog for Adoption in St. Louis, Missouri

Hi! My name is Arden, but I actually respond to the name "Dutchess" or "Mama D". I had seven beautiful puppies on Easter Sunday and they are all with their forever families. Now, I am looking for mine.

My foster parents think I'm the bee's knees. They said if they didn't have their limit of pets, that they would love it if I could stay with them forever. As it is, I am staying in a spacious pen in their basement, but they are really hoping for a home for me with a couch and/or bed to cuddle with my peoples on. You see, I love getting pet, spending time with my people and cuddling. I came from a place with another dog and have shown interest in other dogs when out and about so a doggy friend is possible with slow introductions. I also don't have much of a prey drive so might even be okay with cats. In fact, having a friend to keep me company when my people are gone may be just the ticket! I love wipe downs, and treats, and cuddles, and love. My foster mama says that it is time for me to be the baby -- and I agree!!

I am the best patio companion; I particularly love the patios at Schlafly Bottleworks and Bluewood Brewing, but any old patio will do as long as I'm with my peoples. Schlafly makes me an unseasoned burger when I am there and it is delish!! I take treats politely, even when not out in public and I love my foods!! I'm very friendly to people when out and about, and I have even met a few little kids at events and been fine with them.

I love going for walkies, but I do love to do loop-de-loops - so maybe some more practice would be in order for me if you have an issue with loop-de-loops. I love sunbathing but I am very pink so sunscreen and shade are two must haves. Apparently, I was one of the best mama dogs my fosters have had. I loved playing with and tending to my puppies and I kept them and the pen very clean when they were with me. I use potty pads in my pen if I need to go in between potty breaks outside. I am such a good and sweet girl and I will try to be the very bestest doggy for you. I will just need some patience, a regular routine, a little bit of training and lots of love.
