Austin - Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Oak Point, Texas

Meet Austin — a 1-year-1-month-old Terrier mix weighing 50 lbs with a big personality and an even bigger heart!

This fun-loving, happy-go-lucky boy is full of energy and is looking for an active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit. Austin would thrive with a family or person who enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, and making memories outdoors.

Austin is dog-friendly and guaranteed to keep you smiling with his goofy, silly nature. He absolutely loves people and is eager to build a strong bond with his person. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he's all about belly rubs and soaking up affection.

Austin is still learning his manners and will need a patient, consistent home committed to helping him succeed. He's very treat-motivated, which makes training much easier! He's currently working on basic skills like sitting, walking nicely on a leash, and not jumping up when he gets excited. He's also still working on potty training and may have occasional accidents.

Because of his excitement and tendency to jump, Austin would do best in a home without small children. What he truly needs is someone willing to guide him, continue his training, and see the amazing dog he's becoming.

If you can look past a little training and puppy-like enthusiasm, you'll gain a loyal, entertaining, affectionate companion who will bring endless joy and laughter into your life. If you're searching for a devoted best friend with a playful spirit, Austin is your guy!
