Hi, I’m Flutter!


I’m a sweet, super friendly girl with a timid side. New people and new places can make me a little nervous at first, so I need a family who will give me time to settle in and feel safe. Once I warm up, I’m incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and full of love.


I’m also a very active girl with lots of energy. I love going on walks, chasing a ball, and being around other dogs. I really thrive with canine friends and would do best in a home with another dog, as I’m happiest when I have a furry companion to play with and help me burn off energy. Because of my high energy level, I’m looking for a home with another dog who can match my playful spirit and keep me company. I’m not sure about cats yet.



I am still working on potty training and I am not potty trained yet. I’m learning to go outside and also use pee pads, but I still have accidents and will need continued training in my new home. Because of this, I’m looking for someone with a lot of patience, consistency, and understanding. I’m a smart girl and I’m very food motivated, which helps a lot, but I still need guidance and routine while I learn.



I do have a playful, mischievous side too. I like to chew on things like clothes and cords, so my family will need to keep tempting items out of reach and help redirect me to appropriate toys. I’m also a super high jumper and can get onto counters and tables, so you’ll need to be extra careful about what gets left out.
