Penelope - Terrier and American Bulldog Dog for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Penelope is short stacked, medium sized girl at around 35-40lbs full grown. She is very sweet! She is playful, fun, and a well behaved girl. She is around 2 years old and was found stray, without microchip and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue. She has a sweet energy, is good with dogs of all sizes, and enjoys human attention.
Bio:
-age appropriate energy, thinks she is a lap dog, is outgoing and happy go lucky but also mellows out nicely
-great with other dogs in her foster home
-likes to be around people
-potty trained
-is great on leash
-does well in a or gated/pen area and is crate trained
-enjoys toys, treats, and chew bones
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard
-will make a great companion, and a great walking and adventure buddy to a lucky family
-does excellent on car rides to her vet appointments and errands with her foster
-did well for her grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and is on flea and tick preventatives
