Briar — Worth Getting Caught Up In
Meet Briar, a sweet little explorer with just enough wildness to keep life interesting!
Briar isn’t the type to climb into your lap and demand constant cuddles. Instead, she prefers to settle somewhere nearby, keeping an eye on her people and enjoying being part of the action. She’s affectionate in her own way—and if you happen to offer a belly rub, she’ll happily accept!
She’s great with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions around. Briar is also comfortable with both men and women and has been exposed to children 10+. She’s currently growing through her raptor phase, so older, dog-savvy kids are likely the best fit for her right now, though we expect that branch of her story will open up once she passes this phase.
Briar is working on her housetraining and making good progress. Regular potty breaks will help her continue to succeed as she figures out this whole indoor-living business.
Outside, Briar is happiest when she has things to investigate. She loves collecting little treasures from the yard, digging mysterious holes and generally poking her nose into whatever looks interesting. She has a curious little spirit and is always ready to see what’s waiting around the next corner—or behind the next bush.
Briar may have a few puppy thorns to work through, but she’s got plenty of sweetness underneath them. With patience, guidance and a family willing to let her grow at her own pace, this little Briar is sure to become a wonderful companion.
