Peppy - Terrier and Miniature Poodle Dog for Adoption in Martin, Georgia

Peppy is a cute, small 16 lb terrier mix who came to our small rescue as an urgent case, it appears his tail had started to rot off due to strangulation by matted fur. He had an immediate vet visit that resulted in tail amputation and neuter. He is a shy guy who is very loving and playful once you gain his trust ( which doesn’t take long). He seems to be cat and dog friendly. No accidents in his indoor kennel at night. He will require continued antibiotics, some more booster vaccines and stitch removal. This sweet little guy has a really ruff start, he was showing fear aggression at the shelter which I believe was related to the fact his tail was in so much pain and no one knew it. Because of this I can not recommend a home with small children but he has not shown any aggression while in my care.
