Chowder is a handsome, 1.5–2 year-old Terrier mix weighing about 63 lbs, with a strikingly beautiful coat and an even more striking personality to match.

If you’re looking for a true people dog, Chowder is your guy. He absolutely lives for human connection—his favorite activities include greeting everyone he meets with full-body wiggles, hugs, and kisses, and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. His current family says he’s never met a stranger, and it shows.

Chowder has a great zest for life and enjoys both playtime and outdoor adventures, making him a wonderful match for an active home.

While Chowder has happily attended doggy daycare and has made some dog friends, he ultimately prefers to be the only pet in the home, where he can truly shine and be the center of attention. Chowder is intelligent and eager to learn, and he thrives in a home that provides structure, consistency, and positive leaders. In return, you’ll get an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who bonds deeply with his people.
