MEET ADELIA — SMALL DOG, BIG PERSONALITY!

Adelia is a stunning little terrier mix who came into rescue emaciated and clearly having been through a lot. She arrived dangerously underweight, but thanks to lots of love and good care, this girl is doing beautifully today!

She still eats like every meal might be her last, though! Adelia is VERY food motivated, so treats are definitely one way to her heart.

Today, Adelia is:
Fully vaccinated
Spayed
Microchipped
Finished with her heartworm treatment
Doing wonderfully with potty training
Dog-friendly
Cat-friendly
Great with adults

We don't know how Adelia does with small children because she has never lived in a home with young children.

And then there's Adelia's adorable little quirk... the way she moves! She hops, she trots, she runs, and she LOVES to play with toys. This little girl is active, playful, and endlessly entertaining. She is the kind of dog who will make you smile every single day simply by being herself.

Adelia has officially embraced the good life and is THRIVING! She loves to run and play and would be happiest with an active adopter who can keep up with her energy.

She's not exactly a cuddle bug, but don't mistake her independence for indifference. Once she feels comfortable, she'll happily settle right beside you and soak up a good face scratch. That's Adelia's love language!

Because of everything she's been through, Adelia needs an active, patient adopter who understands that she may need a little time to decompress when she arrives in her new home. She'll need a few days to settle in, adjust to her new routine, and learn that she is finally safe and loved.
