Rosie’s been lucky. She had a loving home for over 3 years, but then her mom became too ill to care for her. Rosie’s luck hadn’t run out, though, because an AJL foster took her in and pledged to care for her until she finds her next companion. Rosie does the cutest little spin when she’s waiting for a treat! She loves a lap and belly scratch. She’s not needy but she does prefer to be close to her person. Rosie was a beloved only dog in her previous home, so it’s taken her a minute to overcome her shyness with her canine foster siblings, but once the toys came out, she learned that they could be fun companions too. “Rosie Posie” would definitely thrive in a one-dog household, but she will open up to doggie friends with a little patience.
