When it comes to home manners, Baxter is an absolute dream. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night long without a peep, making bedtime a breeze. He is also a fantastic travel partner who rides beautifully in the car, content to just sit back and enjoy the journey.

While Baxter likes toys, his true passion in life is human affection. He is a certified velcro dog who loves attention above all else. His absolute favorite activities include melting into your lap for a good snuggle and getting thoroughly pampered while being brushed. He has a wonderful, friendly nature and gets along great with other dogs, happily sharing his space with his foster siblings.

Baxter is still figuring out a few of the basics, like standard commands and how to walk smoothly on a leash. He can be a little unrefined on his walks right now, but he is a sweet, cooperative boy and is already practicing his leash skills. Because he is so eager to please and loves being near his people, continuing his basic training is bound to be a rewarding bonding experience.
