Meet Ethan!
Ethan is a 1-year-old, 10-pound Terrier mix with the softest, cutest curly coat! ❤ï ̧ When Ethan first came to us, he was terrified and worried about this big new world. But it didn’t take long for this sweet boy to realize he was safe—and once he discovered treats, he came right out of his shell! Now you’ll find Ethan happily coming running when he knows a treat is waiting for him!
Ethan gets along with literally everything and has a gentle, sweet personality. He would especially enjoy having another small dog to play with and keep him company.
He does great in a kennel and is doing wonderfully with his house training when using a dog door. He’s also a great size for someone looking for a smaller companion and would do very well in an apartment setting.
Ethan has come such a long way, and it’s been wonderful watching his confidence grow. He’s ready for a patient, loving family who will continue to show him how wonderful life can be.

Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.
His adoption fee is $250. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

- IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.

Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.

Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.

All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.

If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.

We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.

Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.
