Meet Stormi, a precious 6-month-old Terrier mix with a bright spirit and an even brighter future ahead of her! This sweet little girl came to us as an owner surrender, and while that's a big change for such a young puppy, Stormi has remained incredibly loving and people-focused. She adores attention and is happiest when she's near her humans, soaking up affection and learning about the world around her.
At just three months old, Stormi is at one of the most important developmental stages of her life. Early puppyhood is when lifelong habits are formed, which makes this the perfect time to begin positive reinforcement training and establish structure. She's ready to start learning basic commands like sit, stay, leash manners, crate training, and potty routines. Consistency, patience, and reward-based training will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. Terrier mixes are often intelligent, energetic, and eager to engage, so keeping her mentally stimulated with short training sessions, interactive toys, and enrichment activities will help her thrive.
Socialization is especially crucial right now. Introducing Stormi to a variety of people, safe environments, sounds, and other animals in a positive way will help build her confidence and reduce the likelihood of fear-based behaviors later in life. Puppies who experience the world in healthy, structured ways during this stage are more likely to grow into balanced, adaptable companions. Stormi is naturally sweet and curious, which gives her a wonderful foundation to build on.
She is truly a loving little puppy who wants to bond deeply with her forever family. Whether she's playing, exploring, or cuddling up after a busy day of learning, Stormi is ready to give her whole heart. She will do best in a home committed to continuing her training, socialization, and providing the guidance every young puppy needs.
