Sophie is a sweet female terrier mix who was originally adopted from Burleson Animal Control about a year ago. Recently, a local groomer reached out to us because Sophie had developed a bladder stone, and her owner was unable to afford the treatment she needed. We performed a cystotomy, and our veterinary team has now cleared her for adoption.

Sophie has been gentle, loving, and easy to work with since arriving. She has a soft, sweet personality and has handled her medical care with patience and resilience. She is currently on a prescription diet to help prevent bladder stones from recurring, and her adopter should be prepared to keep her on this food long‐term. Her adoption fee is $300.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
