I'm Amos, a beautiful tri-color terrier puppy with a face guaranteed to immediately melt your heart!

I'm still just a baby and came to the Humane Society of York County when my owner surrendered me. My estimated birth date is November 2025.

I've been in foster care since I arrived at HSYC. I've proven to be an extremely affectionate little boy who likes to be at my people's side constantly. I love to be held and snuggled, and prefer to be touching my humans when I fall into my many puppy naps.

I love to play with my toys - stuffies, Nylabones, tennis balls, Nerf balls, tug ropes. My very favorite is a frozen Kong filled with peanut butter and yogurt.

I get along well with the resident dog in my foster home, and I watch her all the time to learn new things, like how to go up and down stairs and how to walk on a leash. My foster family says I'm a very smart boy and I learn very quickly. Now if I could just grow big enough to get up on the couch by myself!

I also have started school at Zoom Room in Fort Mill and I'm learning important skills, like sit, down and heel.

I'm a wonderfully sweet, gorgeous little boy and I hope to find a loving forever home soon where I can continue growing up. Like all puppies, I have typical bursts of play energy followed by naps. Then more play and naps! I need a home where I can continue growing and learning, and that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family.
