MEET MAX — A SWEET SOUL LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME
Max is approximately 6–7 years old and is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who is hoping to find a family to love him forever.

Sometimes, despite everyone’s best intentions, a dog needs a new home. We’re determined to help Max find the right family who will appreciate just how special he is.

What We LOVE About Max
- Extremely affectionate & loving
- Max loves being with his people and is happiest curled up on the couch, soaking up attention and belly rubs.
- Loves other dogs!
- He is very friendly and loves to play. He can get a little excited when first meeting another dog, but his intentions are always playful and social.

Loves walks in nature
Max enjoys getting outside and exploring, but he is also a total couch potato. He doesn't need to be constantly on the go.

Excellent on leash
He is very well-behaved, obedient, and a pleasure to walk.

Almost zero prey drive
Squirrels, rabbits, birds... Max barely notices them!

Gentle & somewhat timid
He is a sensitive soul who truly thrives on kindness, patience, affection, and reassurance.

Unbothered by loud noises
Fireworks? No problem for Max!

A Little About His Personality
Max can be alert to noises outside the home and may bark if he thinks there is a threat. He may also bark when guests first arrive.
The good news? He generally settles within a minute or two. Once the initial excitement and stimulation wear off, he becomes his usual friendly self and is ready to meet people, get attention, and collect some pets.

Most importantly, Max has shown ZERO aggression. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who simply needs a home that understands his personality and gives him a little time to settle into new situations.
