As stoic as a bear, meet Ursa, the stunning black terrier mix on the lookout for her forever home! Ursa is getting a fresh start on life here at Lost Dog and is quite enjoying herself. She is learning the world is not so scary, and has absolutely loved walking in the quiet solitude of the park. While she has loved that, she might love her humans just a bit more. Ursa loves attention, and may even follow you around if she likes you!
Ursa has discovered she enjoys frolicking in the backyard and playtime! She gets very excited when it's time to play, so some solid toys will make her very happy. Ursa has demonstrated the "sit" and "down' commands, and with some high-value treats, the sky is the limit! Ursa would love a family that will let her keep coming out of her shell, decompress, and take the world at her own pace. With some love, pets, and plenty of treats, Ursa is bound for greatness! If Ursa speaks to you, stop by one of our adoption events and adopt her today!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy. Terriers come in various sizes and coat types, but they all share a common heritage as fearless and determined hunters. These dogs are typically highly trainable, making them versatile companions for active individuals and families alike. With their loyalty and playful demeanor, terriers are beloved for their endless enthusiasm and affectionate nature.
