Riggs - Terrier Dog for Adoption in Eugene, Oregon

Riggs
3 years, neutered male, 18 lbs
Terrier mix

LIKES: Cuddling, playing, chew toys, other dogs, being held, napping

DISLIKES: Being away from his humans

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Riggs is the cuddliest boy who loves to snuggle in a lap for nap time. He is playful and likes to chase around his foster brother or chew on squeaky toys. He has a silly personality and will let you know when he wants to be held or when he would prefer to crawl on his belly. He has a great nose and will sniff out anything there is to find whether it’s a treat or a sock.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Riggs does well with a regular potty schedule and has no accidents when taken outside. As a boy dog he does like to mark his territory, but that behavior resolved after he became comfortable and confident in the space.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Riggs does very well in a crate overnight and when home alone during the day. He does not like to be in the crate or alone when he knows you are home.

EXTRAS: Riggs is very loving boy who is learning how to be a house dog. He had to learn how to jump on the couch and walk on a leash, but he is a very fast learner who is eager to please. He does well with lots of encouragement and praise.
