Meet Sherlock!
Sherlock and his brother, Watson, already have quite the tale to tell! They were found in a bucket in Texas's Rio Grande Valley, flown to Northeast Texas, and then hitched a ride all the way to Colorado to find their forever families.
Named after Sherlock Holmes, this scruffy little detective is incredibly smart and sure to solve all of life's games, mysteries, and puzzles! He figured out the doggie door within minutes of being shown how to use it.
Sherlock is crate trained, sleeps 5–7 hours at night, and whines in his crate when he needs to go potty. He's still working on house training, but he's food motivated and catches on quickly. He sleeps well in his crate but would happily sleep in bed with his people if that's preferred!
Sherlock has a sweet, agreeable personality and loves to cuddle and be held. He enjoys playing tug-of-war with Watson and playfully nibbling on his brother's ears. He's great in the car and especially loves peanut butter and his teething toys.
He has already mastered the classic puppy-dog eyes, and with a face like his, the look comes built in! Add in his adorable scruffy beard, the cutest little bouncy run, and some pretty impressive puppy sploots, and he's nearly impossible to resist.
Sherlock is still very much a puppy, complete with teething and all the usual playful puppy behaviors. After such an incredible journey, this clever little man is ready to investigate his way into his forever family's heart!
