Meet Honey

Honey is a female Terrier mix who started her life with us. We adopted her out as a puppy back in 2020, and she spent some amazing years with an owner who loved her. Sadly, her owner passed away, and now Honey is back with us, confused, scared, and not sure where her person went.

Grieving, healing, and slowly trusting again. Honey's world turned upside down, and she's taking it one day at a time. She's slowly starting to trust us, and every small step forward is a big deal. She knows what it's like to be loved and to have a family, and she's ready to have that again once she feels safe.

Was adopted from us in 2020 and had a happy, loving home until her owner passed
Very scared right now and still adjusting to the change
Slowly building trust with our team
Needs a patient person who'll give her all the time she needs to settle in and feel comfortable

Honey has already shown she can be someone's devoted companion. She just needs someone gentle enough to help her heal and patient enough to let her love again in her own time.

Ready to meet your new best friend? All Wags and Whiskers pets go home vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Many of our animals come from unknown backgrounds, so please be ready for a 10+ year commitment of love.
