Meet Caruso! Caruso spent some time at Anti Cruelty as a pup, and recently returned due to the children in his home developing extreme allergies to him. Caruso wants to assure everyone that he is quite a clean and lovely guy and was very clearly loved in his previous home. He is a friendly, delightful dog just the right size for a hike, but also just right for a cuddle on the couch. Thinking about adding a friend to your family? This sweet guy is currently available for both adoption and foster and would love to meet you! Interesting in fostering? Email foster@anticruelty.org to let the foster team know! If you would like to meet Caruso and potentially adopt, stop by our Adoption Center at 510 N. LaSalle to meet them and all of their friends. We offer same-day adoptions, free parking, and our team will guide you through every step of the adoption or foster process. ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy. Terriers come in various sizes and coat types, but they all share a common heritage as fearless and determined hunters. These dogs are typically highly trainable, making them versatile companions for active individuals and families alike. With their loyalty and playful demeanor, terriers are beloved for their endless enthusiasm and affectionate nature.
