Meet Zane! Zane is a 7-year-old Terrier mix who has already learned that life can change in an instant. One day, this sweet boy was minding his own business when hit by a truck! Thankfully, his injuries were limited to a large cut on his face which did require stitches, and he has no lasting injuries—just a story to tell and a whole lot of living left to do! Unfortunately his owners were unable to afford his vet care and he was surrendered to a local shelter where they reached out for help for him. Zane is a well-mannered, housebroken gentleman who knows how to be a good boy. He gets along well with other dogs and would happily share his home with a canine companion. Cats, however, are a different story. They make Zane VERY curious, and his curiosity may be a little too much for feline roommates unless they like a rousing game of chase at all hours of the day. So, a cat-free home is probably best. Zane is proof that even after a scary detour, there can still be a happy ending. He's ready to leave the past behind and spend his next chapter being someone's loyal companion, couch buddy, and best friend. Seven years young, housebroken, dog-friendly, well-mannered, and ready for his forever home. Zane is waiting for his happy ending!
