Every butterfly has a story, and Maggie's is one of patience, love, and learning to trust.

When Maggie first arrived at TRUAA, she was completely shut down. Scared, shy, and unsure of the world around her, she didn't know who to trust or what to expect.

But just like a caterpillar needs time to become a butterfly, Maggie needed time to feel safe enough to spread her wings.

With patience, kindness, and lots of love, that frightened little girl slowly began to blossom. Today, she's come so far! She enjoys spending time with her favorite people, loves playing in the yard, and is discovering just how wonderful life can be!
