Meet Stewie, a delightful 3 and a half old terrier mix. This medium energy boy weighs 44 pounds and is a charmer all day long. Stewie comes into rescue to no fault of his own. His aging owner had some complex medical issues and was not able to take care of Stewie any longer. Stewie has a great personality and a sweet disposition. He is looking forward to a bright future and spending his days with his forever family.Stewie does well with other dogs and children. He can hang out with just about anyone. He has not had the opportunity to mingle with a cat, so his relationship status remains unknown at this time. We do know that Stewie is full of love and will be eternally grateful to share his life with an equally loving family. Stewie is house and crate trained and he is looking to be a jack of all trades by working on and learning his leash walking skills. and even walks nicely on a leash. Spring, summer or fall there is no better time for Stewie than the present to get out and learn about the world around him though regular walks. Each experience is an opportunity to bond with him and allow him ample opportunity to meet new friends or casual acquaintances. Stewie is open minded to all new experienced. Although Stewie is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment.
