MILO - Needs a foster/forever home - Terrier Dog for Adoption in Birmingham, Michigan

Our handsome boy Milo arrived with a police escort. He has endured quite a bit in his young life. When he came to us, his rectum was bleeding and swollen. We’ve since learned he has polyps. He is scheduled for surgery Tuesday, and the polyps will be sent out for biopsy. This sweet, sweet boy is full of kisses for everyone he meets. Please keep Milo in your hearts and prayers that his biopsy results come back clear.

Milo is super sweet, enjoys cuddling, going for walks, and car rides! He is very social and a very happy boy! He does well with other dogs after a slow and proper introduction. Unknown with cats. Children 12 years old and older. His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard. Milo will be neutered on Tuesday, vaccinations are up to date, and he is microchipped as well as crate-trained. Milo deserves a forever home where he is loved, cherished, and spoiled for the rest of his life!! A privacy fence is best for him; he can get over a chain-link fence.

Milo may be good with other dogs after proper intro; we don't know how he is with cats.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year to attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Milo's adoption fee is $300.
