DESCRIPTION
This pretty pup is Midge. She is 6-months-old and weighs 28 lb. We are not sure of her breed mix but expect she will be about 40 lb full grown. Midge has a soft, gentle spirit and the sweetest soul. She can be a little timid at first, often showing those classic “please like me” manners, but it’s all part of her sensitive and loving nature. This calm, quiet girl is looking for a loving home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. With a little reassurance and kindness, Midge really starts to open up and show just how affectionate and loyal she can be. She’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will truly blossom once she knows you. Midge would do best in a calm environment with someone who understands that the best relationships take a little time and are so worth it. She is going to make someone the sweetest companion. Midge is good with other dogs. We don't know what Midge thinks of cats, but can cat-test her if needed. Midge is microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $440 (includes spay surgery). If you would like to meet/adopt Huck, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-online-adoption-application/ or stop by our shelter. We are open 10 AM to 4 PM seven days a week. The DAWS shelter address is 147 Grassy Plain St. Bethel. Email daws@daws.org with questions or if you wish to schedule an after-hours appointment. Midge can't wait to meet you!
