DESCRIPTION

Meet Mylah!

If you're looking for a dog that wakes up every single day convinced life is the greatest party ever, then Mylah just might be your perfect match!

Mylah is a 7-month-old Standard Poodle/Saint Bernard mix with an incredibly happy-go-lucky personality. Everything is exciting in her world. New people? Best day ever. Other dogs? Even better. A toy, a walk, a training session, or simply spending time with her family... Mylah celebrates it all with a wagging tail and a huge smile.

She is house trained, crate trained, and a proud graduate of our Paws-in-Prison training program. She has an excellent foundation in obedience and has learned all of the skills we expect from our program. As with any puppy, however, her future family will need to continue reinforcing what she has learned. We will teach her adopters exactly how she has been trained so they can continue building on her success.

Now, let's be honest... Mylah is still a puppy! Sometimes her brain has one priority, and that priority isn't always listening. If a leaf blows across the yard, it's suddenly the most fascinating thing she's ever seen. If her dog friends are nearby, they occasionally become far more interesting than whatever you're asking her to do. It's all very typical puppy behavior, and she always comes back ready to learn. The important part is that she has the training foundation, the eagerness to please, and all the potential in the world to become an exceptional adult dog.

Mylah absolutely loves other dogs and thrives on being with people. In fact, she would hands-down love to live in a home with another playful dog. She is extremely dog friendly and dog social, and we would strongly prefer to see her in a home where she has a canine companion to run, wrestle, and play with every day. She truly lights up around other dogs and would flourish with a playful best friend.

One thing to keep in mind is her size. At only 7 months old, Mylah already weighs just over 50 pounds, and she still has plenty of growing left to do! She will be a large dog, so her family should be prepared for a big companion with an even bigger heart.

Because of her coat, grooming is not optional. We are committed to finding her a family that understands the responsibility of caring for a high-maintenance coat. Daily brushing and routine professional grooming are essential to keeping her comfortable and healthy. Unfortunately, we see far too many dogs with coats like Mylah's become painfully matted because their owners underestimated the commitment. We will only consider applicants who understand this responsibility and are fully committed to making grooming a lifelong priority.

If you're ready for a fun-loving, goofy, affectionate young dog who has an outstanding start in life and is eager to keep learning, Mylah is waiting to meet you!
