Hi! I'm Onyx.



I'm a 2-year-old Standard Poodle with a big curly black coat, an even bigger heart, and about 80 pounds of love to give. My foster family calls me a gentle giant, and I think that fits me pretty well.



I'm calm, quiet, and easygoing, especially for my age. Whether it's a road trip, a walk, or a lazy evening on the couch, I'm just happy to be with my people.



I'm potty trained, crate trained, and know my basic commands. I don't even need my crate, but when I'm ready for a nap, I'll often tuck myself into bed all by myself. Even though I'm nearly cabinet height, I've never been interested in counter surfing. I'm a gentleman like that. The vacuum doesn't bother me, either!



My favorite toy is my Lamby, and I carry him around like he's my best friend.



I love other dogs, adore people, and give the sweetest, gentlest kisses. I'm really just an oversized lap dog looking for my forever family.



One thing to know about me: I'm a Standard Poodle, so my curls require regular brushing and professional grooming. I'm looking for a family who understands the commitment to keeping my coat healthy and comfortable.
