Meet Bogart

Bogart is a small Standard Poodle who is discovering what life is supposed to be.

Coming from a commercial breeding farm, Bogart spent his life in a barn and a stall, with very little experience of the world beyond it. Now, in his foster home, he is learning about walks, soft beds, other dogs, gentle people and all the little things that make life good.

He is a quiet, gentle and very timid boy who needs time to trust. But he is making wonderful progress. He loves other dogs and looks to his canine foster brother for confidence. He is learning to walk beautifully on a leash, enjoys sniffing and exploring and is beginning to discover that people can be trusted too.

Bogart isn't looking for a busy home or someone who expects him to become confident overnight. He needs a patient person who will celebrate the little victories, give him time and help him discover the world at his own pace.
