DESCRIPTION

Say hello to Garret

Garret is a doodle mix with a heart of gold and a face that could melt just about anyone. Seriously—this might be the cutest dude on the planet. But it’s not just his looks that make him special... Garret has loved every single person and animal he’s met. His joy is contagious, and his gentle, happy spirit makes him an instant best friend.

Right now, Garret is heartworm positive and going through treatment, and he’ll need a committed foster to adopt who can help him safely finish his journey to full health. Through it all, he’s stayed incredibly sweet, resilient, and full of love.

Garret is looking for a home that will stand by him, give him the care he needs, and then enjoy all the amazing companionship he has to offer on the other side of treatment. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate pup who will adore you endlessly, Garret is ready to be your guy We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
