Meet Zeus, he is a 2-year old Staffy mix weighing about 75lbs. He is a big, strong, handsome boy. He has a gorgeous silky black coat with lovely white on his chest and paws. Staffords do not usually stand particularly tall, but Zeus has terrific long legs. What you don't know about him until you get to know him is that he is a big softie and even a goofball at times. When a staff member is working nearby in the morning, and he can see them through his kennel, he makes sweet little barky sounds until we look at him, smile, say 'good morning', and give him some scrunches. He sits like a gentleman, gazes up into your eyes, and says 'I missed you'. He is very active and loves to run and play fetch - frisbees are his absolute favorite! He was a stray in Rensselaer County NY that was due to be euthanized. We got him in Olympics-ready shape and showered him with the attention and love he longs for. He is a pro at sitting for his treats and scrunches, and is great on leash walks. He is a big boy, very handsome, strong, and runs like a gazelle. He would be a great fit for someone with an active lifestyle to join you on hikes or in a game of ultimate frisbee. Zeus is eager and ready to be a part of your family!

Staffordshire Bull Terrier are full of courage and tenacity, agility and strength. They are a mild, playful, eager-to-please companion with a reputation for being patient with the whole family and a special feel for kids. These are true-blue loyal companions, but it is vital that the pups be socialized with other dogs to learn good canine manners.
