Eevee - Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Schipperke Dog for Adoption

Eevee is around two to three years old and about 45 lbs. She was pulled at the last minute from the Prince George's County Shelter's euthansia list and she certainly deserved the chance to have a forever home. When she first arrived at her foster's house, she was sick but that did not stop her from showing her wonderful calm, loving, and affectionate personality.

Eevee is an absolute sweetheart. She is friendly with everyone she meets: adults, children, and other dogs, young and old. She is very smart and listens well and is house trained and crate trained. She loves to be around people and will follow you wagging her nubby tail for pets. She wants to be a lap dog if permitted, She is also very food motivated but does not resource guard.

Eevee would make a great addition to almost any home. She doesn't ask for much, just a calm household, unrestricted couch privileges, plenty of cuddle time and lots of snacks. She will repay you with the most loyal companionship and tender kisses! She is scheduled to be spayed on November 3.

The Schipperke breed is a lively, small sized dog originating from Belgium. Known for its black coat and fox like appearance, the Schipperke is characterized by its fearless and independent nature. These intelligent and curious dogs are loyal companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Though they are small in size, Schipperkes have a big personality and require plenty of mental stimulation to keep them engaged. With proper training and socialization, the Schipperke can make a wonderful family pet for active households.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a muscular, agile dog known for its loyalty and affection towards its family. With a friendly and courageous nature, this breed makes an excellent companion and is great with children. Their distinctive physical features include a broad head, strong jaws, and a short coat that comes in various colors. Despite their tough appearance, Staffordshire Bull Terriers thrive on human interaction and require consistent training and socialization to develop into well rounded pets.
