Sky & Good Boy - Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Bellaire, Michigan

Wouldn't it be so neat to be adopted with your best friend!?

Sky and Good Boy are not a *super* bonded pair and *technically could* be adopted separately, but they have lived together in the same home for years before coming to the shelter. They most definitely love each other and do look for each other when separated. Do you have room in your home for a pair of sweet pittie besties?
Sky is a 5yr old spayed female staffy mix with the cutest ears! She is calm, quiet, great for nail trims and overall, a wonderful little lady. She doesn't pay much attention to the other dogs in the shelter, so would most likely get along with other dogs in a home.
Good Boy is a 6yr old male staffy mix who was neutered last week. Good Boy loves to carry a tennis ball around wherever he goes! He is very friendly with people and is on the calmer side. However, he does not seem fond of other male dogs as can happen when males are left intact for a long time. This may subside with time, as it sometimes does, but we have no way of knowing right now.
Sky and Good Boy are both short, stout, and roughly 56lbs of muscle! They usually have minimal bouts of zoomies before happily going about sniffing the yard and hanging out in the shade. They both do jump up in excitement when greeting shelter staff (more like in search of cuddles, honestly - especially Sky. Think of it like giving hugs!) We would love for them to go into a home together, to spend the rest of their days cuddling on couches (if they're allowed!) and smelling the flowers in the yard side by side.
We would recommend a home without small children only due to occasionally jumping up, but this is a behavior that could be worked on. We would also recommend a home without cats, as we do know that they will chase after them.
Dog adoption fees are $100
They are vaccinated, microchipped, & fixed.
