Meet Stone!

If you're looking for a best friend who's always up for an adventure but never says no to a good couch cuddle, Stone might be your guy!

This happy boy loves people, loves affection, and seems to think every passing car is an invitation to go for a ride. He's a wonderful companion out in the world, too! He's enjoyed trips to the farmer's market, the park, and even the gym, taking it all in like a pro. He walks nicely on leash, ignores barky dogs on walks, and has been respectful and polite with his canine foster sister, even earning some cuddle time with her by the end of his stay.

Stone is housebroken, does great in his crate, and already knows commands like sit and shake. He takes treats gently, has lovely manners around food and water, and is happy to hang out with his people wherever the day takes him. Hiking buddy? Absolutely. Movie-night snuggle partner? Also absolutely. Stone really does offer the best of both worlds!

A quick note about Stone: He is heartworm-positive and will need to complete treatment with the support of his veterinary team. We're looking for a home willing to welcome Stone now, care for him throughout his treatment, and hopefully make him a permanent family member once treatment is complete.

Stone's foster family has absolutely adored him, and it's easy to see why. He's a loving, easygoing, happy boy who simply wants to be part of someone's life. Whoever brings Stone home is gaining one very special companion!

With a friendly and courageous nature, this breed makes an excellent companion and is great with children. Their distinctive physical features include a broad head, strong jaws, and a short coat that comes in various colors. Despite their tough appearance, Staffordshire Bull Terriers thrive on human interaction and require consistent training and socialization to develop into well rounded pets.
