DESCRIPTION
MEET JELLY! - I am in foster, please come meet me in Dedham Saturday 5/9 from 2-4PM! Jelly had been living with foster families for the past three months that include dogs of several breeds and sizes. She plays extremely well with all has no problem sharing, so she may do well with a canine companion in her future home. She is crate-trained (crate); uses a dog door (outside) and is house-trained. Miss Jelly very much loves cuddling and loves to sleep cuddled up to her favorite family member, sleeping very soundly through the night. She is food motivated so training will be easy. She is very attentive to the trainer's voice, whistle, facial and hand commands. She is a very pretty, SWEET girl that loves cuddles and giving kisses and has the personality of a golden retriever! Jelly is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Jelly or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a muscular, agile dog known for its loyalty and affection towards its family. With a friendly and courageous nature, this breed makes an excellent companion and is great with children. Their distinctive physical features include a broad head, strong jaws, and a short coat that comes in various colors. Despite their tough appearance, Staffordshire Bull Terriers thrive on human interaction and require consistent training and socialization to develop into well rounded pets.
