Meet Sweeney!

If you have ever wanted a Golden Retriever but found their size a bit daunting, Sweeney is the perfect match for you. She is an adorable eight-year-old who looks like a "mini Golden," weighing in at just 25 pounds.

Sweeney is a sweet, gentle girl who enjoys snuggling on the couch and taking walks around the neighborhood. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and very well-behaved.

Rescued from a hoarding situation, Sweeney arrived with eye, ear, and skin infections, as well as a severe flea infestation. She has since been fully vetted and is doing wonderful; her coat continues to get prettier every day.

While she can be a little shy with new people, she warms up quickly. She loves her foster mom and follows her everywhere. Sweeney also gets along great with other dogs, and we believe she would do best in a home with a canine sibling to help show her the ropes.

Will you be the one to give Sweeney the love she deserves? Please visit www.redcollar.org for more information on Sweeney and how to make her a part of your family.
