MUFFIN MAN
Spaniel
🇺🇸
Chattanooga, Tennessee
July 6th
male, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Do you know the Muffin Man? Well, he is a new fella at our shelter but is ready to be in the spotlight! While we are unsure of his exact age, our vet is estimating him to be about 7 years old. He is a 27 pound spaniel mix full of love!
Muffin Man was originally taken to another municipal shelter. He had "cherry eyes" on both sides and was extremely depressed and overwhelmed in their kennel environment. This shelter reached out for help and Muffin Man was later taken in by Perrys Promise who got him the surgery he needed and ready for adoption before coming to us.
Since Muffin Man has been here, he has shown us just how loving and kind he is. He spends his time with his office dog friends, following staff around like a little shadow (mostly Nick), and sun bathing when he goes outside. Muffin Man isnt quite sure he enjoys the walking part of walks but he sure does love to sniff and heat up in the sun! He is very gentle when taking treats and really enjoys being loved on by his humans.
Since Muffin Man is a chill and mature fellow, we think the perfect family for him would be one that is calm, cool, and just looking for a house mate and snuggle buddy!
We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.
The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
