DESCRIPTION
Adventure Starts Here
Meet Nanook, ;a one-year-old Husky with a playful spirit, a goofy sense of humor, and a bright future ahead.
This handsome guy is the perfect age: past the tiny puppy chaos but still young, eager, and ready to learn. Nanook loves a good game of fetch and, unlike some of his Husky relatives, he actually brings the ball back! He also enjoys splashing in the water, making him the ideal adventure buddy for hikes, lake days, or backyard fun.
Nanook has a little enthusiasm on leash and is still polishing his manners, but he's a smart boy with lots of potential. Ask him to sit, and he'll often offer a dramatic down instead. Is it confusion...or classic Husky negotiation? We'll let you decide.
He's happy to tolerate a brushing session, loves spending time with his people, and is looking for an active home that will continue his training while embracing his fun-loving personality.
If you're searching for a dog who's equal parts athlete, comedian, and loyal companion, Nanook is ready to make every day an adventure.
This handsome guy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video here:
To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
