Rupert - Siberian Husky and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Quakertown, Pennsylvania
RUPERT
Siberian Husky, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Quakertown, Pennsylvania
August 30th
male, large, senior
DESCRIPTION
Coming in at 77 pounds of fluff and good looks: RUPERT. He was brought to our shelter as a stray with no microchip and no history. We have learned Rupert is highly observant, a passenger prince, great at sniffing, intelligent and eager to explore. He walks at a slow pace, theoretically trotting to the Pink Panther score. Rupert is not looking for any old adopter; he wants his soulmate.
The perfect person for Rupert has no pets, no children, and plenty of time to spoil him. Rupert should go home with someone who sees his transition from a kennel space as an engaging and rewarding journey. Anxiety in canines can result in longer acclimation processes, but this is alleviated when a dog has a person/place they trust. We hope this is YOU!
Want to know more? Call or visit our Quakertown shelter. Rupert is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and started on preventative treatments. PA Kennel License: Lahaska #1401, Quakertown #7508.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
