Micah - Siberian Husky Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Meet Micah!

Micah is a young male husky mix we estimate to be around a year old. We are unsure of Micah's past due to him being brought to us as a stray. Micah is your typical high energy husky who can run and play for hours on end. He would be best suited in an active home and is open to meeting kids of all ages. He has met other dogs and done well. He would prefer a home without kitties.

If you're interested in meeting Micah, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.

Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
