From living on the streets of Texas to getting a second chance at life here in Iowa, Xena has quite the story to tell!

Xena is a beautiful 3-year-old Siberian Husky with stunning blue eyes and a heart full of love! At just 40 pounds, she's on the smaller side for a husky, but don't let her size fool you — she has enough love to fill an entire house!
A little about Xena:
3 years old and 40 pounds
Gets along GREAT with other dogs!
Will tolerate cats
House trained!
Still working on kennel training. It's definitely not her favorite place to be!
Walks great on a leash!
Absolutely LOVES car rides!
Beautiful blue eyes that will melt your heart!
Thinks she's a lap dog and wants all the love and attention she can get!

After spending time living on the streets, Xena is learning just how wonderful life can be when someone loves you. She doesn't want much — just a warm home, a comfy spot to curl up, and someone who will love her as much as she'll love them.

Xena may be a husky, but deep down she's a 40-pound lap dog who just wants to be close to her people.
