DESCRIPTION

Blue is looking for a foster family too!

“Hi, I’m Blue! I’ve got the brilliant blue eyes and soft, gorgeous silver-gray coat. But it’s my personality that really stands out. I’m told I’m the sweetest, joyful girl around, with a big heart that everyone who meets me can’t resist!

I was found dumped on the streets of Beirut in the summer of 2022, shaved and left to fend for myself. I was battling anemia from an infection that nearly took my life. A kind lady in Lebanon found me just in time and treated me back to health. Since then, I’ve been waiting at a boarding shelter for someone to give me a chance.

Nobody wanted an active and furry husky like me. Years went by, and I got older at the shelter, still waiting for my turn. Along the way, I also had a mastectomy, done as a precaution after they found a fluid-filled abscess in my chest. Given my age, it felt like the safer, more practical choice.

After years of waiting, the pawesome team at PawesomeBaby Rescue learned about me and decided they weren’t going to let me be forgotten. They are bringing me to the Pacific Northwest to find me a family who’ll cherish me for who I am.

I’m now around 8-10 years old. I’m not very needy, and I appreciate the simple adventures in life. What I really want is a family to call my own, so I can spend my golden years being spoiled rotten the husky way, instead of living in a kennel.

I love hikes, exploring, playing, and being around people including kids. Being around people just makes me happy. I do well with other dogs too , though I prefer being the only princess of the house, or living with male dogs. I get along well with non-dominant female dogs. I haven’t met any cats yet , so we’re not sure how I’d feel about that.

I’ve been through more than most dogs ever will, but I’m still full of life and love to give. All I need now is a family willing to give me the second chance I deserve.

PawesomeBaby Rescue is bringing me to the Pacific Northwest end of October. Would you like to meet me and make me family? Please reach out to my rescue to learn more!”
