About Jack Jack
Some dogs have a quiet way of making you feel at home. Jack Jack is one of them.
Picture a leisurely walk through the neighborhood, a relaxing afternoon in the yard, and a loyal companion happy just to be by your side. Whether he’s exploring the outdoors or settling in for a few well-earned ear scratches, Jack Jack is content simply spending time with his people.
Jack Jack is an 8-year-old Husky who came to UPAWS after his previous owner made the difficult decision to surrender him due to changing life circumstances. He was clearly a cherished member of the family. We were told the young boy in the home was especially worried about his best buddy, so one of our staff members sent him photos of Jack Jack happily running and playing in our exercise yard to let him know he was safe, cared for, and doing well.
When Jack Jack first meets someone new, he may take a little time to settle in. Before long, his gentle, affectionate personality begins to shine. During his time at UPAWS, he’s enjoyed leisurely walks, has walked nicely on a leash, and had an absolute blast stretching his legs and romping around our play yard.
Like many Huskies, Jack Jack enjoys fresh air, exploring new sights and smells, and being included in whatever his people are doing. At this stage in his life, he’s just as happy joining you for an adventure as he is relaxing by your side at the end of the day.
Jack Jack has already been someone’s best friend. Now he’s ready to become someone else’s.
Jack Jack’s adoption fee has been generously sponsored by Select Realty in memory of their dear friend, Chris Cosco. Because of their kindness, Jack Jack’s adoption fee is $0 to an approved adopter.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
