DESCRIPTION
Meet Yukon -- a 11⁄2-year-old Siberian Husky who somehow missed the memo that he's supposed to be a husky! This happy-go-lucky guy is basically a Golden Retriever in a fluffy husky suit. Yukon is sweet, social, tolerant, and acts like he's never met a stranger. He loves other dogs, does wonderfully in play groups, and would make an excellent doggy daycare candidate.
Yukon is also heartworm positive and will begin treatment in the coming weeks after his neuter. The good news? We cover the cost of treatment! He'll simply need a calm home where he can take it easy for six weeks after his injections before returning to his fun-loving self. If you're looking for a friendly, easygoing companion with a heart as big as his smile, Yukon may be your perfect match.
All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.
